囍: An Eternal Vow is an unofficial, for-profit, wedding themed zine project that explores the relationship between Zhongli and Childe. It is a ZhongChi centric zine, meaning fixed content (no switch dynamics or TartaLi).囍 is a symbol of double happiness, and it is a motif commonly used in Chinese weddings. However, we will welcome an expansion of the wedding theme, and works submitted do not necessarily need to adhere to a Chinese wedding theme.In compliance with all applicable intellectual property law, Zhongli and Childe are playable characters from Genshin Impact, a role playing game developed by miHoYo CO., LTD. 囍: An Eternal Vow is a unofficial project with no direct affiliation with Genshin Impact and miHoYo CO., LTD.

Q: What is the rating for the zine?A: It is rated T. However, we will be organizing an NSFW physical side zine (Eternal Desire) which will be R-18. Due to this, we will only be accepting contributors that are 18 years old and above at the time of acceptance (April 27).❀Q: What will be the specs of the zine?A: The SFW zine will be A4, perfect bound, left bound, soft cover. The NSFW side zine will be A5, digital.❀Q: Can other characters appear besides Zhongli and Childe?A: Yes, there can be other characters in the background, but the main focus will still have to be the two of them! (E.g., Ganyu and Keqing preparing for their wedding, Hu Tao and Xingqiu playing wedding door games, etc.)❀Q: How many contributors are you looking for?A: 33 Artists, 6 Writers, and 7 Merch Artists, all of which are inclusive of guests. Merch artists are invite-only.❀Q: What do artists have to draw?A: Artists can choose to draw 1) Cover Page, 2) Spread, 3) Illustration or 4) Comic.❀Q: What do writers have to write?A: Writers will be given a word count limit of 3K, and the fic will have to be wedding related (e.g: proposal, their marriage, domesticity, etc).❀Q: What is the workload for merch artists?A: Merch artists are expected to come up with 2-3 merch offerings.❀Q: Can merch artists contribute to the NSFW side zine as page artists?A: Yes.❀Q: Will you be doing Moderator Applications?A: Yes! We are in need of a formatting intern. The intern's responsibilities will mainly include typesetting (for different translations of the zines) and proofreading.❀Q: How will profits be split amongst contributors and moderators?A: Profits from the SFW zine will be distributed evenly to all contributors and moderators. The NSFW side zine will be an add-on, and whatever profits made from the NSFW side zine will be distributed evenly to contributors who are participating in it, and also to the moderator team on top of the profits from the SFW zine.

Contributors
Artists:Submit three sample links with at least one Genshin artwork. ZhongChi art is very much preferred and encouraged, but not necessary. Portfolios are encouraged but optional; it will be used to break a tie, if any. NSFW and trigger warnings have to be tagged accordingly.❀Writers:Submit three sample links (two of them can be excerpts with a word count limit of 500, and one will be a fic with a word count limit of 3000). One should at least be a Genshin fic, and ZhongChi fics will be very much preferred and encouraged, but not necessary. Your portfolio can be your AO3 or FanFiction.net account (optional, but will be used to break a tie, if any). NSFW and trigger warnings have to be tagged accordingly.❀Merch Artists:Submit three sample links (illustrations, merch mock-ups, or merch you have sold before) with at least one being a Genshin artwork, along with a portfolio (optional, but will be used to break a tie, if any). NSFW and trigger warnings have to be tagged accordingly. This is an invite-only position, so there will only be pinch hitter applications for merch artists.
Moderator
Side Zine Formatter:Applicants must be 18 years old and above, comfortable with NSFW and potential dead dove content. We expect 3 sample links of formatting work.We also expect applicants to be comfortable with comics typesetting for the different languages (KR, CN, JP) as we will be providing translations in our PDFs.Portfolios are encouraged but not necessary, but do note that it will be used to break a tie, if any.
Conduct
We will not be accepting artists who participate and/or condone NFTs, nor people who take part in harassment/bullying, and we expect all contributors to be respectful towards one another.Whatever you ship in fiction will not hinder your application.Due to legal restrictions in the USA where we are printing the zines, NSFW lolisho content will not be permitted.
